Environment Control - Extraction Fans
Fans are used to control growroom temperature and keep plants supplied with fresh air. In an enclosed space plants will quickly use up the CO2 available to them from the air, it is best to make sure the old hot air is removed and replaced with cooler fresh air. An extraction fan is used to blow the old out of the room. Air would then be sucked through passive intake, such as a vent, as the extraction fan blew the old air out of the room. These fans can also be used an a intake fan to provide the grow space with a good supply of fresh air. An active intake is only needed in larger grow rooms.
