The ballast provides the power at the right voltage to your HID lighting system, providing all the power thats needed for your plants lights. Without a ballast a HID (HPS and MH) light will not work.

The ballast provides the power to your light. All ballasts meet relevant British standards and incorporate many safety features including matched digital intelligent igniters and thermal cut outs. Type of ballast may vary but they will always be good quality and safety tested. Availible in 250 Watt, 400 Watt |

Lumatek Digital Ballast |
The Lumatek Digital Ballast is a great piece of equipment. Also known as electronic ballasts, the newest technology in the world of ballasts. Digital ballasts offer more efficient output with practically silent operation. Works with all types of HID bulb. Safe running and can be restarted very easily. The Lumatek ballast is the industry first to include a 'super lumen' switch. This feature will boost lumen output by 10% when the switch is activated. This allows unprecedented control of lumen output during ballast use. This feature is for HPS lamps only. Currently only availible in 400 Watt or 600 Watt. |
