Meters to check the pH and EC of the nutrient solution. The right pH level allows the plant to access all the nutrients available to it and therefore grow better. If your pH is too high use pH down or pH- to lower it, or if your pH is too low use pH Up to raise it.

pH Test Kit |
Our pH Test Kit is an easy to use manual pH tester. Simply put a sample of the water/nutrient solution to be tested in tube and add a drop of indicator solution and shake well. Then just compare the colour of the water/nutrient solution to the colour chart. The kit is good for about 150 tests. At the rate of 3 per week the kit will last approximately one year. |

pH Buffer |
pH Buffers are solutions of a known and fixed ph. They are used to calibrate ph meters, which should be done on a regular basis to ensure correct ph readings. Availible in Buffer 4 and Buffer 7, it is best to use both to ensure accurate readings. |

Trident Meter |
The Trident Meter is an all-in-one conductivity, pH and temperature meter. It comes with a one piece probe housing containing all 3 probes. The meter is dipped into the solution and the readings are displayed on two screens. As the Essentials Trident Meter is portable, it can be used any time and anywhere to help you manage your crops' daily nutrient requirements. Calibration of the pH and EC/CF/ppm is very easy using the push buttons on the meter and calibration solutions. Temperature does not need to be calibrated, as this is set during manufacture. The Essentials Trident Meter offers the added benefit of being able to select the display options for temperature as 'C or 'F and nutrient solution as CE, EC or ppm. |
